We’re looking for a new friendly face to join our Wild Rover Wedding Team. We started Wild Rover Food in 2011 with a passion for connecting people with local food, grown or reared sustainably and picked as fresh as possible. Every Saturday (and on the occasional week day) you’ll meet at our base in Fife, and travel with our team to a different wedding venue: barns, farms, country houses, peoples homes, and the occasional field. Working at our army field kitchen and land rover, you’ll help us serve the best produce we can find, cooked up fresh on the day.

Your main duties will be serving guests, however you may also be required to help prepare canapés and plate dishes. You need to have a great ‘front of house’ attitude, as our guests can always see what you’re up to. You’ll also be expected to muck in with clearing, washing up and packing down the set up. The hours are quite long, but the pay and craic is good!

Our first wedding is on the 8th of April, and the last on the 2nd of December. There is the occasional weekend off, and we will try to help with prior holiday commitments. But you do need to be someone who is basically free on a Saturday!

You must have:

Experience of working in a similar role (not necessarily in a field, but in hospitality!)

Enthusiasm for good food and our ethos 

The ability to apply yourself to a range of different tasks during a day

Be a brilliant team player

It’s great if you also have:

Your Level 1 Food Hygiene

A drivers license
